Books at the Brewery - Demystifying Dementia
Very few people will go through life and not be touched by Dementia, including Alzheimers, in some capacity - whether that be because a family member or friend is living with it or because they are living with it themselves.

For this event we've called upon Aged and Dementia-care Educator, Rose Capp and fiction writer, Sean Wilson to discuss their books which both have the central theme of 'living with Dementia'.

Rose is on a mission to 'demystify' the information we have access to, to make it more comprehensible and to teach us all that we can work with and relate to those around us who are living with Dementia and be reassured by what lies ahead for them or for ourselves. Sean brings a fictional approach to the conversation - writing a story based on his grandmother's experience; a beautiful, moving and important story which will complement the discussion in so many ways.
